Still busy with Dr. Sketchy stuff, but here’s a sketch from about 2 years ago that I don’t think I’ve posted yet.
I originally drew it to have something to work with in Photoshop. My Photoshop skills were absolutely horrible at the time though and every rendition of the fellow came out looking like a giant red ball.

I was thinking about that the other day. I started doing colorwork on my sketches in PS, but there are times where I feel like the b&w sketch look better without color!
Maybe its time to adjust…

I found I started getting a lot better results when I started using burn and dodge and applied the various layers of color in less than 100% opaqueness. That and almost every option underneath Image->Adjustments……..
Even now though, I’ll still throw away the Photoshop version occasionally in preference of the original sketch.
